We ensure all releases from other dev is in standard form and good quality of work specially on database scripts, to maintain cleanliness of scripts and to avoid future issue's on live and other deployment environment.
We review/create database objects like Store procedure, triggers, alter, tables, views, functions.
understand/analyze those database scripts. We doing testing on every release package based on user story and test cases
we create set of test cases such as: regression,functional,smoke and negative test cases.
extracting data. We make sure the release is complete and no missing components also we debugging the application to make sure no error and functioning well the application. We check if there's installation guide included and understand if these installation/instruction is clear and specific to avoid misunderstanding upon deployment.
We do unit testing and compile unit testing evidence and passed on peer code reviewer.
