EXPERIENCE

Solution Test Coordinator/Test Manager/Senior IT Consultant (Financial Tech Services Client) 

RCG Global Services 

Responsibilities: 

  • Gather list of Features and Enablers planned for the increment and for the whole QPP. Coordinate with Product owners and Project managers to help on determining testing requirements for all planned features/enablers. 

  • Participate in backlog refinement to understand well the requirement to identify impacted process flows, applications, business rules for End to end testing. 

  • Gather delivery timeline of related feature/story to determine target timeline for testing 

  • Actively participate in determining feature/story dependencies for testing and making sure that these dependencies have been resolved. 

  • Actively participate in identifying Issues/Risk in testing and communicate effectively to the Leadership 

  • Raise needed items for testing, it's impact of delivery on different QE teams. 

  • Determine readiness of E2E testing and identify what QE teams will be involved for End to End testing 

  • Coordinate with Third party partners involved in End to end testing. 

  • Coordinate with different QE teams involved in End to End Testing and gather progress and updates. 

  • Gather impediments, dependencies, risks and issues identified during end to end testing. 

  • Assist QE Teams to resolve impediments, dependencies, risks and issues by coordinating with Developement teams, Product management teams, Scrum Masters and product owners involved with the project. 

  • Raise and discuss impediments impacting testing delivery to Leadership. Provide test and defect management for each release testing. 

  • Coordinate with different QE leads involved in E2E testing in determining strategies for End to end testing. 

  • Create overall status report for End to end testing on each release and communicate to Leadership team.

Main Project for the Client: Overall Testing Coordinator for the Large initiative of Merging of two Salesforce org in to one unified org for the client that include testing of the repoint integrations, workflow rebuilds, reinstalling of Salesforce add-ons and data reconciliation. Coordinate with different QE teams involved, Product owners, product managers and Leadership to resolve impediments, risks, issues and dependencies in testing. Directly communicate and report progress, issues, and risks to the client's IT leadership team.

 

Overall Offshore Test Lead/Test Manager 

Accenture (Telecoms Project) 

Responsibilities: 

  • Overall oversight and management of offshore activities for all part of SDLC (software development cycle). 

  • Provide direction to offshore team on all testing activities for all Change Requests in each Major and Off-cycle Release 

  • Provide Review and Sign-off of testing deliverables for all part of SDLC including RTM, Test Approach, Test Scenarios, Test Plan, Test Closure Memo for all Change Requests on each Major and Off-cycle Release 

  • Provide analysis of the Regression scenarios for each Major and Off-cycle Release. Provide review and sign off of the created Regression scenarios 

  • Provide overall strategies for test activities on each of Change Request for Major and Offcycle Releases. 

  • Coordinate with the client's PMO on testing activities for Major and Off-cycle Releases including: 

  • a. identification of risk/s for testing activities and provide mitigation to minimize/zero out impact on the overall status of project/release

  • b. identification of issue/s for testing activities and provide suggestive actions/resolutions to minimize impact on the overall health of the project/release 

  • c. Primary liaison on each Change requests and provide report on the overall standing on System Test 

  • d. Involves in the requirements gathering and/or creating solutions for each of Change Request for Major and Off-cycle Releases 

  • Management of Test Metrics reported to the Client's Management Team 

  • Management of Quality Center including test and defect management for System Test 

  • Provide support on User Acceptance Testing. Coordinate with the Business users on any issues/defect on UAT stage 

  • Lead post mortem discussion and root cause analysis and provide/suggest continuous improvement plan

  • Define, document and obtain approval for Test Strategy and Approach, including objectives, overall phasing and testing methodology and standards 

  • Manage team's financial forecasting and send activity-based costing report to the leadership 

 

Onshore Test Lead (New Hampshire, USA Client Site) 

Accenture (Telecoms Project)

  • Identification of test scenarios and/or test cases for each of the Change Requests for Major and Offcycle Releases. 

  • Creation of Test deliverables including RTM, Test Approach, Test plan and test closure memo. 

  • Provide peer review of test deliverables

  • Manage assigned Change request and help Onshore/Offshore lead on test and defect management 

  • Execution of the test cases identified for each change requests. Testing creation of orders from Siebel CRM, provisioning and Billing. Open defects/issues and coordinate with the development team for the resolution and closure. Document issues and reporting thru quality center. 

  • Report risk and issues to the test lead to provide mitigation and/or resolution 

  • Provide Analysis on the root cause for UAT defects. 

  • Participate on post mortem discussion and root cause analysis and provide suggestion on continous improvement

  • Lead the testing effort and/or team to plan, construct and execute release tests. 

  • Apply testing methodologies, principles and processes to define and implement key metrics to manage and assess the testing process including test execution and defect resolution. 

  • Apply business and functional knowledge to meet the teamsoverall test objectives. Coach and advice testers as required

QA Tester

  • Analysis of Scope Documents/Functional Requirements. Creating Test Plan and scripts, executing and documenti ng tests. 

  • Escalate immediately defects encountered in test execution to leads/developer for immediate execution of fixes. 

  • Providing user support by addressing business inquiries and issues. 

  • Ensuring successful migration of work to production through participa tion in deployment activities. 

  • Recommending possible improvements to existing policies / procedures and in matters relating to people, processes and technology (e.g. through active participation in continuous improvement initiatives, quality teams, focus group discussions, root cause analyses, etc.) and then assisting in the implementation of improvements. 

  • Exercising general supervision over new and less experienced Software Engineers and Associate Software Engineers.

  • Analyze orders with Effective Billing Date(EBD) issue, check it from CRM and create the order in Kenan with the correct specifications. 

  • Verify from AAIS NB if services involve was in working status and check all it's provisional trail if needs arises. 

  • Analyze the order if it's needed to be process in Kenan and explain all why the order cannot be adjusted to its correct effective billing date.
